Are you a music lover? If so, you might appreciate spending time with our full-time music therapist or enjoy entertainment by our guest musicians and entertainers each Saturday in the Rose Cafe. We have sing a longs twice weekly.
If you’re feeling creative, you could try our ceramics, garden club, or a new craft with the Craft Circle.
We also offer stimulating exercise programs such as “Morning Stretch” and “Move it or Lose it!” Work your brain out with word games and trivia. Gather with Book Club on Mondays to read and discuss. Bingo is Wednesdays and always a big favorite!
Residents enjoy our beautiful Kline Way Garden throughout the summer. You can also take a trip…Thursdays we venture out into the community to shop, fish, go out for lunch and see local sights. We had a marvelous trip to the Penn State Arboretum and also took in a Spikes game. In August we enjoy taking Residents to a Centre County tradition, the Grange Fair in late August.
In fulfilling your spiritual needs we have local Pastors preside over our Sunday afternoon church services. Mondays and Thursdays we also gather for fellowship. We have a Eucharistic Minister bring Communion to our Catholic Residents weekly and mass monthly. Bible Study is on Wednesday afternoons.
Don’t forget to go to the beauty parlor weekly at no charge.
